Übungen zum Dauerklicken
Fazit: Sprachen lernen kann anstrengend sein, mit Babbel dürfte jedoch so schnell keine Langeweile aufkommen. Die Übungen laden förmlich zum Dauerklicken ein, auch wenn zwei Dutzend Sätze zur Übersetzung anstehen. Clever ist auch die Einbindung einer Community, denn im direkten Kontakt mit Menschen aus fernen Ländern macht die Sprachpaukerei doppelt Spaß.

"Babbel.com is the bomb. Not babble or Babel but Babbel! It's a website with slick tools and a smooth interface (modeled after a video game console) geared primarily towards learning and retaining loads of vocabulary terms and key phrases through audio visual. The interface is pure eye candy and it loads quickly (I use a standard DSL connection) and works solidly. I have been testing Babbel out for a while now and it has never gotten buggy on me. The system tests me on terms and phrases I have already learned while incorporating new ones about topics that I elect and, thus, are more likely to be interesting and useful to me."

Learn Italian easily in this flex based environment
"I registered and had a play through two of ‘packages’ and found the user-experience and ability to learn from it to be excellent. They start off by teaching you single words, which are each associated to an image, they then eventually go on to teach you to memorise them and learn to understand them when spoken within phrases. By the end I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I got through and how much was easily retained into memory. They also marked one of my finished exercise packages as needing a refresher in 4 days time, which I think is great to keep you interested and remembering previous lessons. So there’s my bit raving about how great it is for learning a new language, which isn’t just available for Italian either, but so far it also has German, French and Spanish."
